First off, thanks to all the kind reactions following our launch! Was very motivating!
Now what is coming next you’re asking? We have 3 things coming up in the immediate future, which should be in next 2-3 weeks:
#1 Bug-fixes
Fist we are busy ironing out some bugs that appeared after the launch. When we have finished the first iteration, you will see a popup on your mobile client prompting you to update the application. We have 2 sorts of updates, compulsory updates and optional updates, depending on the sort of changes we make. Currently we do not have yet a change that would require a compulsory update, but we will see.
#2 Photo management
Second we will add the ability to upload and manage your pictures directly from the Web application. Currently you can do this from the mobile application only.
#3 Translation to German / Deutsch Übersetzung
Also in this iteration the whole web presence under www.nuux.net will be translated to German. Currently m.nuux.net and the mobile application are already available on German.
Hopefully the results will be a bit better than this ;)
In German: In den nächsten 2-3 Wochen werden wir www.nuux.net auf Deutsch übersetzen. Bereits jetzt ist m.nuux.net sowie die Mobilapplication auf Deutsch verfügbar.

Background & About
Nuux started about 2 years ago as a project of Benjamin Walther: “I was going out with some friends and ended up in a place where we had already paid some cover charge but it was not good at all. How would it be to have some network to check-out what other places and events are like, right now? An app to see where your friends are right now, how they like it, see pics, and recommendations from people just like me?”
The idea developed into what has become Nuux right now.
I am really excited - I mean not yeah we are excited because marketing told us it sounds good - I mean REALLY excited from the buttom of my heart. After working 2 years like a devil sometimes on my own sometimes in co-operation with other companies, I am now just a couple of hours before the launch of my product.
My first web2.0 product - I hope it will be a success of course! I often looked at competitors in the past and envied them for their resources the number of people, the investors etc. Now I did it myself. I actually did not plan to do so, but it just turned that way. And now I am looking for partners, I mean now I am REALLY looking ;)
So I’m calling all the enterpreneurs out there: Here it comes DIY Social Network, the location based nightlife revolution do you want to be part of it? Yes, thougth so!
;) Now I got some morrre work, and then just waiting to see how it accelerates traction and people.
